Stiggers Wins Talent at the Miss Montgomery Metro
Pageant
Adana Stiggers competed in the Miss Montgomery Metro/Miss Central Alabama Pageants held at the Wetumpka Performing Arts Center in Wetumpka, AL on Sat, Feb 6th. The Miss Metro Montgomery and the Central Alabama Pageants are preliminaries to the Miss Alabama Pageant. Each contestant competed in 5 phases of competition to include Interview, On-stage Question, Swimsuit, talent and Evening Gown. Adana sang "I'm Here" from the Color Purple Broadway Musical. She was one of 3 winners of the talent category to include 2 dancers and her vocal performance.
Each competitor was accompanied by a Rising Star at the pageant competition. Adana's Rising Star was Miss Ansley Emfinger. Ansley is the daughter of Bruce & Ellen Emfinger of Valley. She is the granddaughter of John & Frances Emfinger of Valley and Gary & Barbara Daly of Elkmont. She is in the sixth grade at W.F. Burns Middle School. She is currently serving as Pre-Teen Miss Chattahoochee Valley.
Adana is the 18 yr old daughter of Dana Stiggers of Valley and Earl Tillage, Jr. of Atlanta, GA. She is the granddaughter of the late Willy and Mary Stiggers of Valley and Ms. Carolyn Tillage of Montgomery, AL. She is currently a freshman at Troy University in Troy, AL. Adana's local pageant titles include, Young Miss Vallerata 2002, Young Miss Chattahoochee Valley 2003, Jr. Miss Vallerata 2005 and Teen Miss Chattahoochee Valley 2007.
